Australasian Touring Caravan, Motorhome & Camping Club, Inc.

The 2009 Australasian Touring Caravan, Motorhome and Camping Club National Get-Together / AGM was held 13th to 20th October at Kookaburra Caravan Park, Busselton W.A..

It attracted over 50 caravan/motorhomes from as far as Cairns in Northern Queensland plus a New Zealand member who was touring Australia.  Their owners, numbering 108, once their units were parked up, got involved in the Program of events which included DIsc Bowls, Bus day Trip, Lawn Bowls, Tagalong and Golf carried out in the daytime and a host of evening entertainment at night time.  There was plenty of laughter and a buzz of excitement was present for the period of the National Get-Together / AGM.

Would you bhelieve that our members spent $86,852.41 whist at the National Get-Together, giving a financial boost to the town of Busselton's economy.

A closing Dinner at the Busselton Golf Club was a happy but at the same time sad event as members wined and dined prior to packing up for the long way home.  They took with them memories and friendships which will be renewed at the next National Get-Together at Deniliquin N.S.W. March 16th to 23rd 2010
