Black Cockatoo Bush Camp - Albert Park, Naracoorte SA. On our return home from S.A. recently, we had the pleasure of staying at the "Black Cockatoo Bush Camp", approx. 14 klms from the township of Naracoorte, owned and operated by Ken & Elizabeth Yelland. These folk have made a very lovely 'Bush Camp' on part of their farming property. They are extremely hospitable people and on arrival, when we realised we had a flat tyre on our caravan, Ken stated that he would assist us, which he did, to remove the wheel and put on the spare. Experience bush walking, bird watching and enjoy the flora and fauna in 120ha. virgin scrub. Barbeques, tables and flush toilets, hot showers and limited generated power provided in a natural setting. A very convenient campground to use as a base to explore the wineries at Coonawarra and Padthaway of the scenic Limestone Coast and visit the World Hertitage listed Naracoorte Caves.
